- There are two reasons why we reject something. When something is not good enough and when something is too good for us. Rejection helps us to discover who does not vibrate at the same frequency as we have, and therefore let us know whom not to waste our energy and resources.
Birds of the same feather flocks together. Chicken and eagles do not mix as they exist at a very different level. If we are unwilling to be rejected, we will remain where we are. Weaklings vibrate at the same frequency so with people with strength. The higher we go on our path of Spiritual development, the more we will find ourselves becoming not of the same frequency with others, and eventually be rejected by them.
- At the operating table lies the woman who believed, loved and followed me to the end of the world. As the knife touches her flesh, it is as if the wound was inflicted on me. I can feel her pains, the excruciating pains she suffered every time she had an attack. This pain must end. The gallbladder was exposed, inflamed with a lot of adhesions. Meticulously we cut the adhesions trying to reach to the bottom where we can see the arteries and the common bile duct. The pain inside me was too much that tears started to flow from my eyes but I hold on. The duct were exposed and we cut it. The bladder was removed, then I asked permission to get out and let them continue because I have to cry. I cried to God and thanked Him that He allowed us to be worthy to receive a part of His pain. This means that He is giving us a thumb up mark sign of His approval. I resolve whatever may happen, as long that God will still use us in Congo, we will stay. Six hours after the surgery,my wife was walking already. God never did leave us nor forsake us. Thank you friends for your prayers. God bless you.
- We get bored with childhood, then we rush to grow up and the long to be children again. We lose our health to make money... and then lose our money to restore our health. We think anxiously about the future that we forget the present, such that we live neither in the present nor in the future. We live as if we will never die, and die as though we had never live. Taken from an article an interview with God.
- We often miss the joy and happiness of the things that we have because we are caught up with the problems of life and we are thinking about the things that we do not have and how we are able to obtain them. Rather than intending for something because it is not there, we better trust and be grateful that we have a great Father who is willing to give us anything according to His plan and purpose. Our Father is rich and is able to do anything. Therefore, when we ask, we must believe that we have received it already. This way we would not have to strive and struggle to have it because we are assured of having it according to our Father's plan and purpose. He knows everything and His only desire is to give us the best.
- There are times I wonder why we are here in Congo. I also asked myself what prompted other missionaries to go to their mission fields? Then I realized that we are sharers of the same mystery....First you should know that we are not here by our own design. We were led here, step by step on different roads, through many apparent accidents; but always, it was the finger of God that beckoned us.
I believe that we are here for a reason. Even as I write, the adversary the devil begin to stalk Congo, roaring destruction! So in the evil times which are now upon us, I believe we are chosen to keep the small flame of love alight. To nurture the seed of goodness in this place, until He will call us back to Him.
- God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things and the things that are not to nullify the things that are so so that no one may brag before HIm.
- We must take inventory of everything that God has given to us. What we have now is a seed..If we keep it today that is our only harvest, but if you release it and sow it, it becomes a seed. A seed is a tiny beginning with a big future. A seed is something that can become more. Remember that he which soweth sparingly shall reap sparingly and he which soweth bountifully shall also reap bountifully.
- What most people lack is not capability but motivation.
